In the heart of Woden, the Hellenic Club of Canberra brings several dining styles together under one roof. The Woden Bistro is the main all-rounder, with steaks, fresh seafood, daily roasts, vegetarian options, traditional Greek dishes and a children’s menu. It has recently been renovated, with updated interiors and a warm, modern dining setting. Members and guests are welcome, and members can access meal discounts by swiping their membership card.

There is more to explore beyond the Bistro. Ginseng is a multi-award-winning Chinese restaurant offering a broad selection of fresh, contemporary Chinese cuisine. Kivotos is described as a Greek wine bar and offers a Mediterranean-inspired dining experience centred on fresh flavours and Greek hospitality. Éla Café is suited to a casual catch-up or daytime break, with authentic Greek treats and a relaxed café atmosphere, while Mavi Gelati makes gelato fresh on site.

The club’s spaces extend beyond restaurants. The Hellenic Club has been part of Canberra’s Greek and broader community since opening at its Phillip site in 1979. It also operates a second City location and supports community projects, charities and sporting groups.
