MyFirstGym Fyshwick

MyFirstGym Fyshwick is a children’s fitness club built around movement, play and confidence rather than a traditional adult gym format. The club caters for children from around seven months to 15 years, with more than 60 classes on its timetable. Activities named on the site include martial arts, dance, gymnastics, Ninja Warrior, parkour and the MFGFit functional training program for children aged eight and over.

The club’s approach is centred on making exercise enjoyable and helping children build practical skills. Classes are led by professional coaches, with the site describing a positive, supportive environment focused on confidence, teamwork, problem-solving, coordination and strength. Parents can watch from the lounge, where tea and coffee are provided, while members also have access to supervised-by-parents free play sessions outside class availability. The Fyshwick team includes Coach Hardy, who works across gymnastics, ninja, parkour and junior development classes, and Coach Abbey, one of the gymnastics coaches who also helps with birthday parties.
